Going to School!

Megha would be going to school starting 15th June. We have taken admission in Bachpan’s play school in Magarpatta. She also require to wear uniform in this school. We just tried her new uniform today and below are the pictures taken at home.

My Birthday Cake

Mom spent quite a some time searching for a better design. The below design was taken from a UK based website and then got it specially ordered from CopperChocs from Pune. And thanks to CopperChocs, they really met our expectation in matching the original design and came out very beautiful

On the day of my birthday, we had arranged for a special pooja in the Marigold Balaji temple, Kalyani Nagar. Also Meyyar thatha, Balu thatha and Rani patti came to Pune to celebrate my birthday.

“Time to party”

Its time for celebrations now.Â Yes , Im turning 2 this may 13th. Dad s quite busy these days with his office work letting mom to carry on with all theÂ preparation. Mom designed this invitation and is all for u now. Waiting for D day to come and see u all at the party.

Im back

Im back after a long time. Here are the updates from my side. Bit of illness in the middle and some trips to karaikudi and tiruvarur for various occassions, well made me quite busy . Mom got a job and we had to move to magarpatta. I had been put in a daycare because of these changes. Finally settled with this new routine.

Ear piercing function

May 4th i cant forget in my life..Day started with getting dressed in new clothes and going to temple. No thought of what is going to happen there..First they shaved my head.. Applied sandal paste on my head and then dressed me up in pattu pavadai.. Big event came then.. All made me sit on my sekar mama’s lap and put a garland on my neck.. Everything was going fine till a needle pierced one of my soft ears.. Oh god.. what a pain.. Everyone was telling its OK.. No its not OK.. Pain was terrible.. and this thing was not going to end..There was another shot of pain from my other ear… Goldsmith who had come here to do this job seemed which very much satisfied. Finally mom and dad heard my cries and took me away for a while.. Atlast the whole purpose of this function was carried out with smile in everyones face.. I too got one after seeing beautiful earrings in my ears..

Bday celebrations at Tiruvarur

My star bday was on May 3rd and we got a chance to celebrate there at Tiruvarur.. Function was on 3rd evening and we happen to reach there only on 3rd morning.. Thatha and Paati had arranged everything… I wore a beautiful white and violet gown, bought from Lifesyle.. First time i tasted creamy cake.. Everyone was very much interested to offer me a piece of cake and get done for a photosnap..I had to change to 3 more dresses for the evening..Photographer needs a special thanks bcoz he tried really very hard to get me into pose.. On the whole , it was a nice evening with lot of good moments..
